There is little to no public benefit to destroying environmentally protected land to continue urban sprawl. This entire proposal should be scrapped, and the resources invested into a significant expansion of public transit projects and densified, affordable housing. This proposal is immensely shortsighted and fundamentally harmful to this province.
In the strongest possible terms, I urge this government to cancel this proposal.
