I strongly object to this Bill, as it will devastate protected natural environments, without contributing to affordable housing. The answer to the lack of affordable housing is intensification of existing urban infrastructure. As a resident of Kingston Road in Scarborough, I believe that we must work co-operatively at all levels of government to meet the needs for affordable housing, without destroying our Greenbelt.
