To permit the usage of the land identified as the Green Belt to be used by a known developer for the use of development is ignorant of what the world is trying to achieve.

In looking to South America, we, the people of Canada, condemn the destruction of the Amazon forest. Yet, Premier Ford has indicated that he is more than willing to destroy precious green space in Ontario to line the pockets of development agencies and corporations. This is a gross injustice to the present people of Ontario, the future people of Ontario, the citizens of Canada, and all people of Earth.

There is land outside of this region that can be used for development. Rather than use this land, Premier Ford has shown he is willing to help corporations continue to grow, at a cost to the environment and the people.

I am adamantly opposed to this and actively encourage all other residents of Ontario to oppose this decision.
