I am vehemently opposed to ANY development in the Greenbelt and will, for the first time in my 60 years, be joining any public demonstrations against this proposal.
There are thousands of undeveloped and under-developed lands / lots that can and should be used to increase housing inventory. These properties are, for the most part, already serviced and connected to public transportation and other critical infrastructure.
Our government needs to do a better job at planning long term to protect our environment and ensure our sustainability if they hope to be reelected.
