The greenbelt was setup to be protected land for future generations. At a time when climate change is going to exact an incredible toll on people and our economy, why are we allowing our protected spaces to be sold off cheaply to line the pockets of the premier's friends?
More of our green spaces need to be protected.
Yes, housing is an issue, but we need to build up, not out. We need to make it more affordable for people to rent and buy condos. We need the population density to increase, which will bring additional benefits.
This proposal is unethical, and history will not be kind to the premier for this.
