This proposal is not grounded in public interest it is based in the interests of enriching developer. PUBLIC LAND SHOULD SERVE THE PUBLIC. There is a grave need in Ontario for affordable housing and support for first time homebuyers, this addressed none of those needs.
Also please reread the Housing Affordability Task Force report, they have stated the development of the green belt is not needed and would have little impact in increasing the number of homes in ON compared to the cost of development.
