I am opposed to removing any land from the Greenbelt protection area. That land is needed for farming, food security and conservation. Waiving development fees harms municipalities, and by extension the people who live in them. The housing crisis is better tackled by building within areas already connected to municipal services and intensifying, as opposed to damaging much needed farmland and areas needed for conservation.
