Please do not disturb the greenbelt. Disrupting such a critical environment for profit is short-sighted. We must use existing residential space to increase housing density instead. Approve multi-unit dwellings in more neighbourhoods. Destroying the greenbelt for housing will only decrease quality of life for all Ontario residents, and the entire ecosystem of the watershed, in the long term. We must preserve this vital and delicate land to ensure the health of all citizens, not to mention the plants and animals who rely on the greenbelt to survive.
