"Greenbelts and other environmentally sensitive areas must be protected" is a quote directly from this governments very own task force that was put together to create a housing affordability plan.

The fact that this government went through the trouble of creating that task force, then blatantly disregard their recommendations in favour of putting money in the pockets of developers instead of actually creating desperately needed affordable housing, is disgraceful. There are plenty of options beyond the Greenbelt for housing that need to be explored prior to even thinking about using this land.
