As a resident of Pickering, my family and I will be directly impacted by this. The area attracts people and provides countless outdoor trails and areas that create a higher quality of living. We get to enjoy natural wildlife. Animals are already starting to invade the city - turkeys, foxes, coyotes. It is criminal to remove this and also detrimental to the entire community when there are other proposed, SUPERIOR solutions recommended in past reports in how to provide more accessible housing. I have been a conservative voter but this government has me reconsidering all future elections - I may never trust another conservative gvt again. Stop this.
