Do not develop the Green Belt. Do not do it.

What is the cost of supporting and maintaining the highways, what will be the municipal taxes required to support the infrastructure in these areas.

what is the risk assessment for flooding, who wants to buy houses for 1M and then not be able to sell them because they are in flood prone areas?

what is the cost of supporting these areas with emergency services and police?

Which hospitals and schools will need to built to support these communities? Whose paying for that?

Which electoral areas will these areas represent? Who will pay for that?

How much will garbage services in this area be?

How will these areas be supported by local businesses?

How many teachers will need to move to that area to support the school system there?

How many new catholic and non catholic schools and high schools need to be built?

Libraries, etc

Do we have to pay to subsidize transit in a place no one can reach?

how come we aren't densifying our current suburbs to improve transit efficiency? Infrastructures are already built and paid for, just need to tear down areas in our GTA that haven't flourished and create denser cities.

Increasing density of our suburbs means more business for our local businesses

Increasing density means needing more staff at a single hospital, then spreading them out over several hospitals.

Increasing density will decrease the taxes per person for the same space, for police, for fire services, for plowing services, for maintenance etc.

We already have problems with class sizes in schools today, now we have to send them out to the green belt to cover those areas too?
