This is an absolutely terrible and unnecessary plan. Urban sprawl costs taxpayers many times more than increasing density in existing cities in suburbs.

We know that climate change is disrupting our ability to import food (just look at the price of lettuce right now due to drought in California). The greenbelt must be preserved for future agricultural use. Once it is gone, it's gone.
