As a young person, I am terrified of the environmental ramifications the development of the Greenbelt will have for me and future generations. Doug Ford promised he would not touch the Greenbelt- we now know this is a lie. It seems nieve to trust elected politicians at this point but a politician taking money from developers to destroy protected land feels as though we are living in a badly-written sytopian novel.
