I do not want any developer to touch any part of the greenbelt anywhere in Ontario. New housing can be created by redesigning the use of urban spaces we already have and making them more sustainable and greener while they're at it. there are plenty of shoddy old buildings that need to be torn down and remade into something cleaner, safer, and affordable for families. building more expensive subdivisions further from the city core won't help working families who need to be downtown close to jobs and schools. public transit can't support the volume of users we have now, it def can't support more people in these areas. The new highway has always been a garbage idea and paving over our last green spaces for more expensive houses is not going to make it a better one.
