"responsible growth [to] help build housing faster and in a targeted manner" DOES NOT MEAN PAVING OVER IRREPLACEABLE GREEN SPACE, HABITAT, FARMLAND, AND WETLANDS.

This bill will create unsustainable suburban sprawl of unaffordable McMansions accessible only by vehicle. It is contrary to the imperative goal of reducing human impact on the planet by responsibly increasing density in already built-up areas.

"Housing" does not mean only single-family homes on huge lots. What's needed is a mix of reasonably sized houses and four-to-six storey apartment buildings on small lots, in areas where services already exist.

Tax-payers elsewhere will bear the burden of supporting the services necessary for this sprawl to be inhabited. The only beneficiaries will be the rich developers who have bought their way into this government.

This bill is evidence of PURE, BLATANT CORRUPTION.
