I am writing because I am extremely concerned about the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. This will destroy forests and wetlands and imperil precious farmland. Please don't choose profit for developers over the future of our land. If this goes through then there will be a precedent for more land to be taken away.

We know the Conservative government have been overruling and removing power from conservation authorities. We want the land protected and for more land to be protected, not taken away.

I strongly oppose the plan to build on the Greenbelt and urge you to listen to the people of the province. I urge you to consider the future for our children, not just in terms of immediate dollars and profit.
