There should be a Federal or separate unbiased committee investigation into the collaboration between the premier of Ontario and developers who bought Ontario’s protected Greenbelt prior to the provincial election of 2018. No developer pays out $80 million for protected land unless they are assured of a change in the laws that would allow them to build after the 2018 election in Ontario.

The premier would have to have something to gain by changing the laws after the election in favor of developers. This investigation needs to occur so it can determine if campaign funds in the form of bribes and kickbacks were promised by developers to the premier to favor a change in laws protecting all of the greenbelt that is involved.

We already have clear evidence that the premier lied when he stated prior to the 2018 election that Ontario greenbelt land would not be developed. We have on record a recording in 2018 of Doug Ford telling a private audience he would “open a big chunk” of the protected area should he become premier. The public has been misled by Doug Ford into believing this land would not be built upon. A meeting that should have not been secretive, but open to the taxpayers of Ontario so Doug Ford would be forced to answer to them. A premier is accountable to the citizens of the province of Ontario, NOT DEVELOPERS.

Doug Ford has demonstrated through these actions that he has no credibility. These are all telltale signs indicative of government corruption and fraud (wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain), and zero credibility. For these reasons, A FEDERAL or SEPARATE UNBIASED COMMITTEE INVESTIGATION MUST OCCUR NOW BEFORE ANY PROTECTED GREENBELT LAND IS TOUCHED.
