I am horrified at the proposed amendments to Greenbelt. We are in a climate crisis and reducing our flood mitigation lands is short sighted and dangerous.

There is no need to create more urban sprawl especially when there is development opportunity elsewhere that wont be as harmful to the environment and will be less expense for municipalities. Suburbs cost twice as much to service! Where is the conservative government of fiscal responsibility - taxes will absolutely go up as a result of this move.
