This Bill will not achieve…

This Bill will not achieve its stated purpose of increasing affordable housing in the densely populated south of our province.
Instead, it will:
create high-priced single-family homes in environmentally sensitive areas;
add to our already grave urban sprawl; increase our already significant traffic and environmental problems;
and put current affordable achievable housing initiatives at risk.

There are alternatives to the outlined plans in this Bill - please listen to the Opposition in the Legisature, who have some practical ideas on how to provide low-cost easy-to-access housing for our new Canadians and working families.

Please work together, instead of shoving legislation (that was not mentioned in the recent election) down the throats of the electorate.
