I strongly oppose removing protections from the Green Belt.

Earlier this year, Ontario’s government-appointed Housing Affordability Task Force said a shortage of land isn’t the cause of the province’s housing crisis. “Land is available, both inside the existing built-up areas and on undeveloped land outside greenbelts.”

This proposal is a cash grab for developers masquerading as a solution to our housing crisis. I'm ashamed of our government's willingness to collude with private corporate interests at the expense of what is good for the public.
