I am deeply disappointed…

I am deeply disappointed with this change in policy direction and the change is n commitment that was made to the citizens of Ontario that the greenbelt would not be touched.
Experts have identified that there are many other effective ways to address the housing crisis. The government seems unwilling to consider these approaches before so quickly moving again to once again put the future prosperity and wellbeing of Ontario at risk by developing land that is so crucial to our shared economic, environmental, and agricultural future. The amendments will severely jeopardize the financial health of municipalities and severely impede their ability to offer vital programs and services. This is creating a serious NEW crisis, not addressing the current housing crisis in any effective way.
