The government should leave the Oak Ridges Moraine Intact and look for quickly developable lands elsewhere within urban boundaries. The Oak Ridges Moraine and it's lands are more ecologically and agriculturally valuable than ever, especially because of development pressures. Opening up these lands will set a precedent for other landowners to lobby the government to open up their lands as well. In order to protect the integrity of the greenbelt and this important natural feature, the government must not alter the existing plan to remove lands.

There are lands available for development to support growth for at least several decades, we do not need to open up valuable greenbelt land. None of the parcels would support affordable housing - only expensive exurbs, luxury homes and car dependent sprawl that is wrecking out environment and bankrupting our communities.
