I am an Ontario resident and find the proposal to remove lands from our precious Greenbelt for development purposes unacceptable!! Yes, we have an urgent need for more and affordable housing, but other options must be utilized, which doesn’t require the use of conservation and protected lands. The fact that some of the Greenbelt lands proposed for re-zoning is owned by developers is extremely disturbing.
Stop the re-zoning of our precious greenbelt, when the results are huge financial gains for developers!!
