This is so incredibly shortsighted as to be almost laughable. It does absolutely nothing to address the need for more housing, and more affordable housing at that, in existing urban centres; nor does it allow for the necessary density required to actually fight the housing crisis. Instead, it irrevocably destroys crucial green and agricultural spaces. It's a shameful proposal packaged under a misleading name.
