Citizens cannot afford to absorb costs of the waived development charges. Developers do not need this subsidy.
This is unjust favoritism when inflationary costs are destroying our quality of life currently. JUST ANOTHER UNJUST DECISION BY THIS GOVERNMENT TO CATER TO THE UNNECESSARY SPRAWL AGENDA THAT DOES NOT FAIRLY ADDRESS THE AFFORABLE HOUSING CRISIS. BUILDING URBAN HOUSING AT $850.000 PLUS HOUSING IS NOT WHAT IS NEEDED. IT IS JUST MORE PROOF THAT THIS GOVERNMENT IS OUT OF TOUCH WITH 21ST CENTURY CONCERNS AND INSISTS ON OUT DATED SPRAWL PLANNING
In a Democracy citizens have a right to speak to the planning process, pushing this thro has not allowed public input and due democratic process to take place!!!!
Our children's future rests on environmental conservation and government planning decisions that do protect our Natural resources and that does not obviously favor development sprawl that will negatively impact sustaining HEALTHY COMMUNITIES....PLEASE LEAVE A LEGACY THAT ACTED IN GOOD FAITH BASED ON ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION NOT OUT DATED PLANNING. THIS IS THE 21ST CENTURY AND WE HAVE SCIENCE TO BACK THAT IRRESPONIBLE SPRAWL WILL CRITICALLY IMPACT OUR COMMUNITIES. FOLLOW THE LATEST SCIENCE , IT IS WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR LEADERS NOT CATERING TO DEVELOPERS WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM LINE.
