I STRONGLY oppose this. Legitimate housing advocates (not developers) and environmental experts and climate change experts all agree that this is a terrible idea. It will not increase the affordable housing supply and it will irreparably harm sensitive and irreplaceable wetlands and habitats. This is, at best, cronyism and possibly even nearer to illegal insider trading. The Ontario Conservative government is not only pandering to, but actually lining the pockets of unscrupulous donors and developers. The only shocking part of this whole debacle is the blatancy of the lies and corruption.
