The Greenbelt should not be touched. As the GTA grows we have less and less areas for forests which provides habitats to wildlife and provides clean air. The GTA generally has a good air quality measure. Getting rid of this green belt area could sacrifice our air. Also, where will the wildlife go? We could end up seeing a spike in wildlife disrupting urban areas.

Communities in the GTA use these areas for walking trails which are necessary to reduce stress and improve the mental health of Ontarians.
