I believe the Greenbelt…

I believe the Greenbelt should not be touched because it will not benefit the population. There is plenty of land to build housing on, that is not being efficiently used. Moreover, the land was protected for a reason: to improve the health of our communities and environment. Developing this land will leave it more susceptible to flooding, and harm an already endangered ecosystem. Moreover, the timing of developers acquiring this land just in time to profit off a changing Greenbelt designation, especially those linked to the PC party, reeks of special interests being advantaged over Ontarians.
