Do not breach the Greenbelt. If anything the boundaries need to be extended to protect more moraines and the Grand River Watershed. This is a dangerous idea and one that future generations will curse this government for making.

This would be a huge step backward leaving southern Ontario even more exposed to climate change negative events and realities. Think about future generations who will need to have clean drinking water and locally grown food. Try developing brown field properties by cleaning up the messes left from past mistakes. Do not pave over wetlands or interfere with fragile watersheds.

This is regressive, undemocratic, a power overreach, and a shameful direction for this government to take.

Consider expansion rather than breaching the present borders of the Greenblet!
