I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. Paving over irreplaceable farm land, natural areas and source water features is unacceptable. In addition to the destruction of the environment and agricultural lands it's going to lead to more traffic and further urban sprawl, and loss of quality of life in surrounding areas.

We all know this isn't going to solve the housing crisis and is just being proposed to line the pockets of developers who own these lands.

Also, I never get involved with these political movements and petitions, but you've pissed off a lot the silent majority including me with this proposal as it is so clearly wrong and corrupt.
