I fully oppose Bill 23. Doug Ford does not have a mandate to develop the Greenbelt as this issue was never brought up during the election as he promised not to touch the Greenbelt previously.
Municipalities will have to pass the burden if developer fees onto homeowners since developers won’t have to pay for infrastructures.
Farmers are against encroaching sprawl.
No affordable housing will be provided on the Greece belt, only luxury living completely car dependent!
Integrity commission will be investigating this sudden decision that seems like payback to Ford’s developer friends.
Plenty of available land to develop within the GTA where public transportation exists but obviously NEEDS TO BE FURTHER developed for the added residents within cities.
