I am completely against any urban encroachments on the Greenbelt. We need that land for ecological services and growing food.
I believe this proposal is very shortsighted when there is so much land elsewhere that could be developed or re-developed. Brownfields, urban infill and underused spaces would put new housing in areas already serviced by transit and utilities.
