There is absolutely no need to touch the greenbelt for housing. By doing so will create a precedent which means they will likely be touched again.

Housing is a crisis but lack of low income housing is the problem, not space or land for it. Zoning and planning regulations and the government should be looking at ways to incentivize developers to do more low income housing that will still be profitable for them.
