Statement: It is the government’s expectation that construction of these new homes will begin on these lands by no later than 2025, and that significant progress on approvals and implementation be achieved by the end of 2023. It is the government’s expectation that the proponents would fully fund necessary infrastructure upfront.
How will the proponent connect to municipal infrastructure? How will the municipalities ensure there is enough infrastructure to handle the new homes? None of these questions are answered.
What happened to Doug Ford's promise in 2018 that the Greenbelt wont be touched and following that statement a bunch of developers purchased land on the Greenbelt. Seems like he wasn't telling the truth.
I am again the proposal to develop the Greenbelt.
