I oppose the proposed amendment to the green belt plan for following reasons.
We need to stop the sprawl and increase vertical housing which reduces environmental impact.
We need more green space so we stand a chance to help with the damage we cause to the environment on daily basis and reverse some of the damages already done.
Building vertical takes less land, less material, less energy use for heating and cooling, less municipal roads and infrastructure.
