Why should we go inside the greenbelt? even if we go inside and increase the area of the greenbelt, why didn't they increase it if it was that important? If we go inside the greenbelt and increase it we can’t replace the animals that habitat of that area.

The greenbelt provides:
Forested areas clean our air, removing the greenhouse gas pollution of Canadas Millions of cars
Habitat for 78 species at risk of extinction
The greenbelt provides tourists and money.

Removing areas of the greenbelt are very risky to us Canadians, it mostly stimulates the economy and our risk of extinction of animals.

There are more than 1,500 square kilometers of undeveloped land in the Greater Golden Horseshoe. We could build five more Mississaugas, or 11 more Oakvilles, without bumping into the Greenbelt.

There are other ways we can face housing prices increasing.

Destroying the greenbelt/cutting trees would be releasing tons of CO2.

If we build on the greenbelt we would be contaminating the soil.
