This proposal is a very bad idea and should be abandoned.
To allow political donors to profit at the expense of the long-term ecological health of the region does not pass the smell test.
Furthermore, the Province's own task force on housing concluded that there is not a shortage of land designated for development. This proposal is simply to reward the Premier's friends.
