To whom this may concern,
I am a grade 8 student at A.R.Kaufman Public School who is concerned for the future of the Greenbelt.

The Greenbelt is covered with multiple first nations treaties,
We need to take into consideration the Indigenous peoples knowledge of the green belt. Talk to them, respect them. Are you consulting with indigenous groups about developing? In the past indigenous have not had a say in what happens to the land that was first theirs. That is still happening to this day. Let's change that.

Why would we move the Greenbelt and destroy it when the land where you are moving it too is completely open? If this plan is going to happen why would we take so much space from the Greenbelt and not build ‘up’? Apartments are ways we can fit more people with less space taken from our beautiful Greenbelt.

Doug Ford has broken a promise that many of us heard, he said that he would not touch the Greenbelt, he heard our concerns about it and now he wants to build in the Greenbelt again.
