The green belt is an integral part of our ecosystem. It has been a protectected area for many years and part of a long term protection of Ontarios environment.
Rezoning to build houses and allow land developers to profit from hoping the conservatives would rezone it, should not be allowed.
Work with the existing infrastructure to renovate or build in current empty or open spaces for high and medium density housing. There are many innovations developing now that could repurpose areas as a more common sense approach to the housing crisis that is now.
