This legislation is quite clearly motivated by land speculation and will not serve the public interest. The arrogance of the Ontario PC government, the obvious disdain that it holds for scientific evidence, for its fellow citizens and for our natural wealth is shocking and shameful. Why push this through so quickly? Why undo decades of work without bothering to listen to different points of view? Repeal bill 23, start over, listen to people, we can solve our common problems together.
