I strongly disagree with this proposal in the most strongest terms.

Sensitive Greenbelt lands should be preserved, as originally intended. A land swap is not equivalent to preservation - indeed, the lands that are taken out of the greenbelt are not the same as the lands being added to the greenbelt. It is not merely a matter of acreage, but rather of preserving important habitat for animal and plant species and agriculture. Even if the overall land area of the greenbelt increases, it does not excuse fundamental flaw of this proposal. This proposal clearly violates the founding premise of having a greenbelt - to prevent development and urban sprawl.

I strongly urge the government to find other solutions that does not include destroying what we have worked so hard to establish. For our environment, for our future generations, for our health.

Please, rescind this proposal!
