I am adamantly opposed to bill 23 which proposes amendments to the greenbelt. This shortsighted pandering to developers is appalling.
Additional housing is needed but large subdivisions are not the way forward. We need to build affordable, more intensive housing with shared greenspace close to places of employment. Let's stop using planning from the last century to meet the needs of tomorrow. Our children depend on us.
