I am totally opposed to the proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Plan.

It is nothing but a guise to cater to the lobbyists of powerful developers and is pm not in the public interest. We need a thoughtful and intelligent response to the housing crisis which provides affordable housing close to where people work ( primarily in the city of Toronto) and which also protects the environment

The environment is an important asset which helps mitigate the effects of climate change. We cannot overlook the value of our tree canopy and other important aspects of the existing legislation.

If this anti-environmental and mindless legislation is passed, it will send a clear message that the environment is not important to Doug Ford and will be remembered the next time voters show up at the polls.
