The amendments to the Protected Greenbelt must not be passed.

Our Premier promised to keep the Greenbelt safe "in it's entirety" and that is how it must remain.
Taking chunks of land out of the Greenbelt to build housing makes no sense as there is plenty of land available within the Urban Boundaries of our cities, towns and municipalities.

Once part of the Greenbelt is taken for development there will be great pressure from developers to take more parts of the Greenbelt.
This is disastrous for our climate! Climate Change is very real so we must do everything in our power to save our environment not destroy it.
The Greenbelt contains waterways, habitat for animals, farmland, a place for flowers and fauna to thrive, and a place for us to breathe. All the trees are so important for taking away Carbon Dioxide and giving us Oxygen.

These amendments must be withdrawn and a new Housing Bill developed.
