Please please do not touch the green belt. It is truly devastating watching how many forests be destroyed due to the housing industry. In my 25 years of living, the past 5-10 years there has been a huge increase of animals present in our residential areas (coyotes, deer, etc.) and why is that?! Because the housing industry is taking away all of their homes. It’s concerning that the government is so worried about where we are going to build more homes rather than our environment. The rate this planet is going, we are not going to live long enough to move into most of them. So again, please do not touch it.
