I strongly urge you to reconsider the removal of a portion of the Greenbelt. It is unnecessary, given the amount of land already available, and will be hugely detrimental to the environment and to our infrastructure, which is already failing to keep up with incoming populations. It is painfully clear this decision has been made with pocket books in mind. Is this really the legacy you want to leave? Urban sprawl, food deserts and environmental destruction for future generations? There are other ways to achieve the goal of 1.5 million homes. You all know this. Please do the right thing.
