I do not support the Proposed Amendments to the Greenbelt Plan. The land you plan to remove or redesignate in the Paris Galt Moraine area are not equal to the existing lands in the Greenbelt. The Greenbelt is environmentally, agriculturally and culturally significant. Environmental features will be lost if you develop this irreplaceable land. Removing wetlands may result in flooding in other areas. I do not support urban sprawl. Also, I want to note that the commentary period for these proposed changes was shorter than the typical 45-day period.
