This is a horrible plan. I have lived in Pickering my entire life and I want this plan to stop. This will not only have detrimental environmental impacts but it will have so many social impacts as well. I implore that this plan be stopped and that a more eco friendly conservation plan be adopted for the sake of the environment, the wellbeing of the citizens, and the conservation of the history of the area. Please do not make these changes when the Ford government had previously stated that these areas would be protected. You are lying to the citizens and destroying the area.
