There is simply no reason to be removing or changing the existing greenbelt plan on the excuse that the builders and developers in Ontario have a lack of serviceable land. This government's own task force determined there was sufficient developable land already identified outside of the greenbelt to satisfy Ontario's housing needs through 2051. This is simply unacceptable pandering to the very wealthy to become even more wealthy by converting public space to private money making space to the detriment of society. Worse it will do nothing to remediate the "housing problem".
Hands off the greenbelt.
