It is outrageous that we are even entertaining this idea. With the way our current climate catastrophe is progressing, we need to focus on REFORESTATION, densifying urban areas and stop urban sprawl at all costs. Developing the green belt is a bad idea for many reasons - the biggest being the impact on our environment and ability to thrive in a liveable planet. We deserve more for ourselves and future generations. Do NOT build on the green belt! We do not want this!
